The Moth Radio Hour
What an honor to have my story aired on The Moth Radio Hour! This story is about my immigrant experience and a chance encounter on an airplane with an asylum seeker from Guatemala.
I was invited to be one of the storytellers in San Antonio, at the Majestic Theater. The piece had to be written and fully memorized–which was nerve wrecking! Of all the stories I could have shared, I chose this one because it is dear to my heart and because there are too many fatherless daughters and daughterless fathers in this world.
